This is my favorite show right now.
This is still my 3rd favorite comedy ever. This season is even better than the first one. The jokes and writing are always funny and the story's emotional depth is amazing. Alison Janney and Anna Faris's chemistry is still fantastic. The cast all give stupendous and hilarious performances especially Alison Janney, Anna Faris, Mimi Kennedy, Matt Jones, French Stewart, Jamie Pressly, Kevin Pollack, Octavia Spencer, and Beth Hall. A+.
NEVER have I seen a scripted comedy that KILLS off a primary character...or prays...or goes to AA meetings. This series is a JOY of both love and pain. Nothing else touches it.
Mom season 2 picked up where it was left off and added more funny gags each episode while preserving a long lasting storyline. Season 2 was even better than season 1 thanks for the smart direction and clever script
The second season of Mom seems to improve it all: Jokes, charm, originality, and above all it's not anymore predictable. The acting still being excellent from its both stars Anna Faris and Allison Janney. All combined to create a most hilarious and clever second season.
Anna Faris and Allison Janney (and the whole cast) are terrific. The show is intermittently funny, painful, sweet, and a bit sad as it tries to deal with messed up family relationships and people who have screwed up their own lives. Well done!
MOM is funny, and smart, and sweet at times and Janney and Anna Faris work very well together. The whole cast is good. One of the 1/2 hr comedies on TV.
