7h agoIn brief: A great show that definitely needs a 2nd season. Before watching, I was skeptical about this show, but when I did start watching it, it pleasantly surprised me. In general, I really liked the show, especially the 5th episode made an impression and emotionally touched me. It was a strong psychological drama, which, unfortunately, can also happen in real life, but that is why this episode is so valuable for its vitality and instructiveness. In my opinion, the series tried to reveal the topic of dissociative identity disorder quite well, and there is also a virtuoso play on the perception of the audience - psychedelic, as it was in the comic book "Moon Knight" by Jeff Lemire. And Oscar Isaac leads a truly divine acting game. He gave us wonderful main characters, and the chemistry between them pleases the eyes and is pleasant to the heart, and this gave us a multifaceted, fascinating story. However, the series leaves some questions unanswered, which is frustrating. But perhaps the answers to them will be in season 2. I hope that the 2nd season will still be. In any case, even if it doesn't happen, then I didn't regret watching this show.

11h agoAbsolutely the best thing about Moon Knight is Oscar Isaac's multiple role performance. While there is not a lot of Moon Knight in the first season, they give us enough that warrants a 2nd season, or at least a follow-up movie.

11h agoA complete waste of time. There's nothing of interest in here. The story is uninvolving and there are no stakes, the pacing is off and only Oscar Isaac is trying, but the script is failing him. There's barely enough material for 2 hours of story, yet they stretched it for 5+ hours because Disney+ has very little new content, so they're mass producing these low effort shows to draw people in. If you value your time, don't bother. Spend it watching something that actually has some thought put into it and isn't a corporate cash grab.

11h agoLoved the whole thing. Oscar Isaac + Ancient Egypt + D.I.D. = Perfection!

18h agoMoon Knight is a fantastic show and easily the best of the Marvel Disney+ tv shows so far. The visuals, most of the CGI and the script are all mostly excellent, and Oscar Isaac as Steven Grant/Marc Spector/Jake Lockley delivers probably one of, if not his best performance that I've seen in a movie or tv show and Ethan Hawke is also great as Arthur Harrow. This is the first of the Marvel shows where I can't really think of any negative things to say about it. Overall, Moon Knight is a fantastic show and it would be a total shame if it were not to get a season 2. I highly recommend it!

May 21, 2022It's getting scary... Moon Knight is one of my favorite Marvel heroes. This show just stinks start to finish. The first marvel show that seems like it can be a standalone outside the MCU - and that's not a good thing. The cgi and egyptian gods are cheesy. The plot is boring and I'm getting sick of watching 6-8 eps of these marvel shows when most of those eps are fillers. I love Oscar Isaac, it's just a shame he has to deal with this awful writing. Villain and plot was boring - not every marvel tv ep is going to be a masterpiece and I get that - some are plot builders, but there's too much DANG FILLER! Actually painful to stay awake through this and on top of that there's hardly any MoonKnight scenes at all. WV, FAWS and Loki all had some less exciting eps, but overall were great shows in my opinion, but this was just bad. Stick to movies if were going to have worthless boring plotless scenes. I was worried when Disney bought Marvel, but I think Infinity Saga had a great finish, but now... there's too many characters and too many shows to the point that it's over bearing. I was most excited about Eternals, but that's the worst MCU movie by far and this was a DC level crap. Take your DANG TIME. We don't need 6 marvel shows per year, give me 2 or 3 well thought out movies with great characters and plots that interconnect. This was a STINKER - Big Time. This might be the end of the MCU as we know it if Feige allows writing and plots like this to continue.

1d agoIt wasn't bad, strong cast and good story. Maybe a bit too heavy inside the main characters head but otherwise very solid.
-
1d agoThis is the most pathetic and childish series Marvel has produced off lately. Total waste of time !!
-
1d agoThis was just a waste of a good character. We barely saw Moon Knight! The voices of the Egyptian gods did not fit them well at all. I couldn't even bring myself to watch the last episode, I just didn't care anymore.
-
1d agoExcellent production, music, and settings. However, the multiple personality disorder was done immaturely and was too confusing. See LEGION if you want it for real. Ethan Hawke looked like he was just collecting a paycheck. I think the reviews are so high because this is MCU's first "highbrow" intellectual show.
