Benji Wilson Daily Telegraph (UK) 05/25/2021
4/5
That's true, but exaggerating the importance of the ultimately trivial has always been the source of much of Motherland's humour. Let's hope they don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Go to Full Review

Motherland is at its best when it is skewering what it knows: the snobbery, hypocrisy and narcissism of a specific strain of white, middle-class London, plus the hellscape of the school gate. And when it is at its best, it is glorious. Go to Full Review
Hugo Rifkind The Times (UK) 05/17/2021

Alex Behan The Post NZ 07/08/2021

James Croot The Post NZ 06/14/2021
As you might expect, things rapidly descend into total chaos that will have you struggling to compose yourself. Go to Full Review

Brendan M @RT76082430 03/19/2025 A palpable dip on quality for this season. Focussing more on story and the drama than the laughs I thought. The irreverence and wit of the first season is a distant memory. If you must. See more Michael W @MichaelW00 06/01/2023 Best yet! The cast and new characters make it, great script, great acting! I hope there's more to come See more Dave C @RT09838700 11/30/2022 Absolutely top form continuation of a great series. Binged in one evening, and laughed a lot. Characters continue strong, thanks to the writing See more Read all reviews
