When I started this show, I wasn't sure I was going to stick with it because I read lips and didn't want to have to stare at captions the whole time. Pleasantly, I didn't have to do that. The voice overs were excellent. They even matched the actors and they did so well following their emotions. Best voice over ever, not once did the mouth movements catch my attention. Now, with that being said, let's get to the rest of how beautifully executed this lovely movie is. The storyline is so unique that it keeps you wanting more. Which is why it's hard to believe there are only 10 episodes. (but, that's Netflix for you) I truly loved the actors too. I fell in love with all of them. Papa was the sweetest soul you could imagine. Geu-ru was, well let's just say I'm gonna miss him. Uncle captured my heart, and neighbor was so sweet and caring. Omg, and the old guy who was pushing his wife in wheelchair (trying not to spoil) and told uncle not to smoke here....he melted my heart. I so wish there were more seasons. It's so nice to see how other countries live, being that I've only seen American movies my whole life until recently. It's movies like this that should truly bring the entire world together. Makes me want to create a petition for just that. I cannot express enough, how beautiful this movie is. Love, love, and more love to every single person involved in bringing it to us <3

I love love love this show. I've watched it more than once and it yanks on the heart-strings just as hard the third time as it did the first. Worse, because now I know what's going to happen and I keep hoping so much it won't this time. The portrayal of Asperger's Syndrome is on point. I am autistic myself and it grinds my gears when Hollywood typically portrays us as either "Rain Man", a sociopath, or an incompetent perma-child. Tang Joon-Sang was spot on point, showing that autistic people can function in society. The other thing I appreciate was how each episode highlights a social ill - three that really stood out to me were an elderly parent who was neglected and left to live in squalor but after her body was discovered long after she passed, suddenly her son and daughter-in-law are VERY interested in her apartment; a young man who was adopted as an infant to an American couple, who then dumped him when it was discovered he had a serious heart problem - he died alone, unwanted, and stateless; and an elderly couple who chose to suicide together rather than live without each other. The series explores the highs and lows of humanity in a very respectful, almost humble way. I hope so much that there will be a season two!

Totally not what I thought it was going to be. That being said, I absolutely loved this show. I thought it might be a crime drama, but it really had more of a God Friended Me vibe. With only 10 episodes, you can finish it in 2-3 days as it is totally binge-worthy. There is such a wonderful character arc for the two main characters for the overarching storyline, and yet each episode has its own story to tell. Grab a hanky or two for the last few episodes. Not to worry. Happy tears for the most part. Just. Loved. It.

I don't cry for series. Not for films either. But this show had me sobbing three times during its first season. It's also incredibly cheesy at times but I've decided to forgive that because when it hits me, it hits all the right notes. It's plain beautiful and talks about regret in very kind ways. Great show. Glad I pulled through.

So, I watched this after Squid Game and Alice in Borderland. Gotta say it's a captivating masterpiece. Had me in tears most episodes.

Antimainstream movie, touchy, great acting, and giving a feeling good experience at the end of the season.

I really loved the 10 episode Netflix mini series, Move To Heaven, a Korean production set there, with optional English language dialogue and subtitles. It is so good, I rate it as one of the best series I have seen in my life. (Free on Netflix). "Finding life in all that's left behind, a detail-oriented trauma cleaner and his estranged uncle deliver untold stories of the departed to loved ones." The main character is a young savant with Asperger syndrome. (We binged to finish at 2am!) I'd say suitable for 15 year-olds and up. ps "Trauma cleaner" is the occupation of clearing the room of someone who has recently died. Excellent script, production, direction, and acting.

Awesome! Such a different proposition, one that we are not used to see in convencional TV programs. Congratulations to Netflix!

So used to escapism, BUT this one compells you process and understand complex emotions. So well written, thought out and implemented. Helped me to cope and comforted me in more ways than one. BRILLIANT! THANKYOU TO THE MAKERS AND ACTORS.

This show explores a service which was quite new to me (literally never knew this existed); trauma cleaning. In other words its a service that cleans up after the deceased. ⠀ ⠀ I think i only didnt full on bawl my eyes out for 1/2 episodes (i watched the last 3 episodes in one shot and am going through a major headache rn). it is really a very... wholesome yet heartrenching show. The stories that they portrayed were so beautifully filmed and the acting was AMAZING. the concept of the show was new, and i can see why this was put on netflix bc honestly i dont think it will do amazingly well in korea TV because its a rather slow drama that you really have to sit down and put yourself into the mood to watch. and im not kidding you it is REALLY. REALLY. REALLY. REALLY. REALLY. sad. if someone can watch through this show without shedding a tear i really have... no words for you 😳 ⠀ ⠀ I feel like after watching this show, you will have a new found comfort for the people around you, and you will learn more to not take them for granted. Like we always think about the deceased, but what happens after? the funerals, the papers, all the administrative things. and then they go home. and then what? the place is filled with the deceased belongings and memories. its all the material belongings of someone's life, stuff that will never have the same meaning being used by another. clear?no clear? ⠀ ⠀ they portrayed the relationship between the uncle and the nephew really well, showing how they learn how to accept each other. it is also so beautiful because han geu ru (the nephew) is a character that doesnt see society through the same eyes as us, he is like a pure genius adult that is free from the constraints of social construct. and the uncle on the other hand is the polar opposite. their dynamic was portrayed well.⠀ ⠀ it put me through a huge roller coaster of emotions. i was annoyed, i was sad, i was angry, i was touched, and most importantly i got a huge sense of comfort from this show. i think its a show that everyone should watch when they have the time to. ⠀ now comes the technical standpoint. the directing was really good, beautiful shots were used. however, i got to say that some parts of the show were rather slow, considering the short 10 episodes of the show. thats all i have to nitpick from the show but other than that, really recommend this to everyone. p.s episode 6 and 9 are my favourite, really became dehydrated after that ✨ ⠀ ⠀ shall leave you with this quote: ⠀ "Although you cant see someone, it doesn't mean they're not with you."⠀ "As long as you remember them, they're not gone."⠀ ⠀
