He claims it is under control, but the repossession notices are piling up, and his wife Michelle is close to breaking point. When Billy discovers a stash of diamonds in a customer's loft, he believes his money problems could be over. Unfortunately, he risks it all in an attempt to make his windfall larger, and is soon back at square one. When Ann and John see Kieran they are unprepared for the state in which they find him, and upon learning the truth about the overdose they take him home. Diagnosed with depression, Kieran struggles under the same roof as his parents, and they end up in a massive argument. Eventually, solace in nature fosters an unlikely alliance as Ann, John and Kieran finally start to find a way out of the darkness.

He brings Dylan a bar of chocolate, but gets a thump from Dylan's estranged dad for his troubles. Dylan's mum Ally is touched by Bugsy's concern, however, and there is a definite spark between them.
