Separated dad Eddie is tired of his brother Pete living life irresponsibly. Living with Pete and his family, he sees every day how Pete fails to see what he has - a good wife in Lorraine and two great kids. Meanwhile Eddie is left pining for his ex and the life they used to have together. After a particularly hurtful row and yet another of Pete's many failings, Eddie impulsively reports his brother for drink driving.
