It does the best job I've ever seen at seriously (but never overly soberly) examining the question of sex and romance in an artistic workplace where passion must be expressed.

There are plenty of interesting developments, as the series continues to further develop its eclectic ensemble, once centralized around a New York City symphony but now spread out to pursue a number of different pursuits.

Four seasons in is when you'd expect a series to jump the shark - or, in this case, the "sharp" - but the writers have been jumping sharks, real and imagined, all along.

The rapturous melody underscoring the fourth season of this entrancing series is a symphony of love, as Mozart in the Jungle blossoms into a full-fledged bittersweet romcom likely to sweep you off your feet with its exotic passions.
