Tori H Jul 13 Absolutely riveting and magically affirming. It told the story of my closeted uncle who would be 100 today! He finally came to terms with himself in the 70s with his partner of 30 years. They both left their families. It was a huge scandal back then!! The 2 main actors are good, especially Morris, but it just doesn't come across as real in any way. Hackney looks way too clean and everyone is way too rich and well dressed. Yes, Barrington is supposed to have saved money but he's not supposed to be living in luxury! The wigs looked fake and I wasn't engaged enough to forget that I was watching actors acting. I watched 2 episodes and the second wasn't good - the daughter was overdone. Unsure whether to bother with the rest.
