Mariamne S Aug 23 I thought it brilliant, equally tragic and hilarious. Great acting cast, writing, scenes, film piece! See more Blen A Jul 3 “Mr. Plankton” is described as a unique and emotional K-drama that blends elements of dark comedy, romance, adventure, and slice-of-life. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions, making viewers laugh, cry, and feel deeply invested in the characters’ journeys. Strengths: Exceptional Acting: The cast, especially Woo Do Hwan (Hae Jo) and Oh Jung Se (Heung), deliver powerful and nuanced performances. Woo Do Hwan is particularly praised for his portrayal of Hae Jo. Unique Storytelling: The show explores themes of mortality, self-fulfillment, and the search for belonging in a heartwarming and sometimes tragic way. The title’s meaning is revealed in a touching scene. If you are sad or depressed don't watch it, if you are into sad and depressing stuff. Watch it. It seems like the genre comedy is deceiving and misused. Because the writer probably gather all the sadness from the movies and shows from all around the world and put it in this one show. Acting of all actors were over the top and worth watching. Many people didn't like the female lead but in my perspective this role were made for her and same goes for the other roles. Casting and acting was excellent. Story was good but there were many loopholes in the story which are the reason for 3 stars. Direction was also really good. So, if you want to watch a good k show. Give it a try and you will probably watch it in one sitting and will not regret it. See more Xenia O 12/22/2024 Mr. Plankton is a must-watch K-drama with great direction and world-building. The characters' growth is well-developed, and their deep backstories add emotional depth, though at times the show leans a bit too heavily on them, risking overshadowing the main plot. Despite this, the emotional moments are powerful and will definitely tug at your heartstrings. Overall, it’s an engaging series worth watching. E assim termina. Roteiro e enredo mais ou menos. Vale apena assistir? Se for fã. Nota: 6 See more Read all reviews
