Critic reviews for eps1.7_wh1ter0se.m4v
As far as episodes go, this one didn't feel particularly amazing, but as I began to review the tapes, the jumper started to look more and more impressive.
It's not all that hard to make an audience laugh or cry, but to make an audience question their own perceptions and sanity takes some real finesse.
How they've been doing this, or more importantly, how long they've been doing this, is going to keep us talking until next week's penultimate episode.
This has always been a show driven by its direction as much as its writing, and this episode did a great job of using its visual style to convey the very fragile and suggestible state of Elliot's great brain.
But among all the surprises in the episode, one stood out as the most surprising, and that was the sense that the show might actually be able to pull this off.
