David F @RT67932737 Mar 20 Poor on every level. The acting is so hammy it was rather like a pantomime. The clothing is nice as is the location. The best thing was the cars - I’ve watched it so you don’t need to!! You have been warned! See more Mr P @RT11302800 Aug 6 Poorly paced. Poorly acted, Poorly executed. A complete mess. Lead actor has literally no charisma to speak of. A complete lack of suspense leaves you completely uncaring of the outcome. One of the worst British Christie adaptations I have seen. See more TheRoblove11 T @rob23456z 03/08/2025 BBC's 'And Then There Were None' 3 episode series about 10 years ago was The Best Agatha Christie adaptation I've ever seen. I loved it more than any other Christie movie or series adaptation. However, since then I'm yet to see any other BBC Agatha Christie adaptation that has the same quality, or even 25% of that quality. All of them over the years since that series all the way up to Towards Zero in 2025 have been so forgettable and drab, very poorly executed. See more Margaret G @RT62106578 08/17/2024 Screen adaptations for works by Agatha Christie are generally hit or miss. This presentation is a "mid-miss" - not terrible but not satisfying either. As a five decades-long fan of Ms Christie, I've watched at least 100 movies, TV series and miniseries of her works. I have little to no problem with changes to time frame, location, and even the identities of suspects... as long as they respect the tone and atmosphere of the original work. This offering did neither. It could have been made into a decent original story, though. See more Heidi E @RT88731777 07/12/2024 I just couldn't get past David Jonsson's distracting (smug...puzzled...over arched?) expression in almost every scene and kept wondering if someone had punched him in the eye just prior to filming. I'm not familiar with his previous work, so maybe this was a one-off. Penelope Wilton hooked me from the first scene on the train but after she was killed off, it quickly became apparent she was the only redeeming character in the series. Too bad.
