In a world where those with powers are known as "Quirks," Izuku Midoriya has aspirations to one day become a hero but there's a catch -- he isn't a Quirk. After a tragic accident involving his friend Katuski Bakugo; Midoriya is the only one to have stepped forward to help protect Bakugo from a villain, because of his acts, he is given a gift by the world's greatest hero, All Might. Now, Midoriya attends U.A. School--a school that cultivates the next generation of superheroes.

While straightforward and earnest, this season’s high-flying animation takes its characters to the brink of ruin before slingshotting them back towards the fundamental hopefulness embodied by its main character.

Even though the contextual depth of the first season(s) was never reached again, the action in the last ones and the way the story progressed and concluded definitely compensated, cementing the Final Season as one of the best in the series

It was fine. I don't get why user reviews are so glowing. SPOILERS: It was fun to see All Might having something to actually contribute again and Bakugo fighting All For One was a fun surprise. During the Deku and Shigaraki/All For One final showdown I was just waiting for it to be done with. The fight steps a bit into the convoluted and nonsensical which is typical with anime conclusions. I was baffled by the complete waste of Kurogiri's story and laughed at how ridiculously inconsequential it was. The episodes after the final fight were a nice change of pace after non-stop fighting scenes, but nothing really interesting, funny, nor emotionally stirring.

The final season of My Hero Academia launches straight into the ultimate battle, closing the saga with emotional weight rather than pure spectacle....Deku’s choice to sacrifice his power reframes heroism as compassion and responsibility, not strength alone.....Shigaraki remains a tragic, well built villain, though tying his entire fate to All For One slightly weakens his symbolism....While the pacing can feel slow and flashbacks overused, the emotional peaks land with undeniable force...Stellar animation, thoughtful direction, and powerful voice acting elevate the finale a true send off....Not a perfect ending, but a sincere and resonant one....

My Hero Academia is one of the best superhero stories out there. If you like DC or Marvel superheroes, you’ll definitely enjoy this show. There are moments where you might feel a little frustrated, but they’re necessary for the story. The series constantly questions whether the main character is truly worthy of this power or just a weak nobody, and the way it explores the ideologies of heroes and villains is on another level.
