TOO BAD AMAZON PRIME IS RUN BY EVIL SOULLESS DEMONS THAT HATE ART AND BEAUTY AND ITS VIEWERSHIP AND FREAKING CANCELLED THIS GEM MERE SECONDS AFTER IT WAS RELEASED. Even though it reimagines a genuinely tragic historical tale, the show manages to create such a light and effortless atmosphere. And if you’re someone who usually avoids history-bending series, honestly? Consider yourself fair-warned right from the opening moments—which actually just adds to the laugh-out-loud comedy of the whole experience. I genuinely enjoyed this mind-boggling series!! The historical setting mixed with fantasy, comedy and romance shouldn't work nearly as well as it does, but I had so much fun with it. As a romantasy book girlie, the mixture between the historical setting of 16th-century England spiced up with the magical real of Ethians works like a charm. The chemistry between actors is superb, the soundtrack is epic, the love story makes you feel things, and the side stories makes it a very well wrapped up serie. Prime still has a chance to bring it back given its successful focus on romance and the good chemistry that they have been fostering with book readers. I personally stumbled upon this series after my Off Campus hangover and reading the outstanding reviews the series has been given by critiques and the general audience. See more Read all reviews
