Hearth A @RT71471170 Apr 12 i must say that this series need a second season, until i have my own family, I'll wait, and wait and wait and wait. this series is about life — a life where everyday is the same cycle — you woke up, eat, go to work, go home and sleep and still the same the next day. it shows that every character here want changes and wanted to be liberated from it. this series want us to know that the definition of life was not sugar-coated, it really shows how life works. it wants us to know that not everything we wanted in life goes how it does. it teaches us that not all questions need an answer. sometimes we don't need revenge for others to know that they're wrong. and sometimes we need patience and to control our emotions. some part of the story in our life, all we need was happiness, freedom and people to talk to. i really recommend you to watch this series if wanted to be liberated from your past self, that keeps you stay on the same boat. p.s APOLOGIES FOR THE GRAMMAR. The writing is wonderfully subtle and understated, entire scenes often have minimal dialogue where the emotion is conveyed through a slight glance or subtle body language. If you're in your 30s or older and have ever wondered "is this all my life will be now?" this is the show for you. Quiet, slow, beautifully written and acted, touching and funny. Watch it. See more 05/22/2022 MLN is written by the esteemed screenwriter Park Hae Young and directed by Kim Seok Yoon. The cinematography is off the charts phenomenal and it is so well written and directed that this absolutely stellar cast has a chance to do seriously creative work. Without discussing too much plot detail, MLN is an examination of existential issues that effect all of us while we a dealing with our unique circumstances that define or lives - money, culture, family. It does start slowly, and that may be off putting to some viewers, but how the makers of this series have managed to combine pathos, humour, tragedy, hope, insight in such a beautifully filmed masterpiece is truly beyond me. The plot is never hackneyed or mundane, and totally unpredictable. The script is so interesting, at time ambiguous which makes the viewer reflect and seriously ponder the ideas.
