Evert B @EvertJ Aug 29, 2026 The first season was fine, interesting the contrast New York Colorado. Kinda nice situation with a big family on a ranch. But the second season it became apparent how extremely boring Jackie is . Her role and her acting is getting to be a drag. Her standard look.. the beseeching puppy eyes, while she is doing another thing that enchants the mother.. it is getting very irritating. The plot also defoliates quickly. The love affair Alex Cole Jackie is getting really tiresome and in the third season I cannot watch it anymore. Clearly the authors are scrambling to fill the third season with a plot that is interesting. There is nothing interesting. We are exhausted by the turn coat Jackie who fiddles between Alex and Cole and back again. A good actress is the mother. She is excellent. Most of the children are forgettable. Alex is fine and Cole is very good. transforming his personality is kinda interesting. But Jackie ruins it all with her goody two shoes scenes. I am fast forwarding now. I love the work the director, screenwriter, cinematographers, set designers, custom designers, and actors put into this tv-show. I also greatly appreciate the workers behind the music selection for the scenes of the tv-show. I believe everyone did a lovely job, and I enjoyed, plus am enjoying, the finished product which is the tv-show. I enjoy rewatching this series occasionally, and am looking forward to the third season. I would highly recommend this tv-series to anyone who enjoys a good love story. See more Read all reviews
