If television could imitate the overwhelmed feeling DEA agents likely felt approaching these cartels, this would be it. This season is intense, fast-paced, and a must watch.

Out from under the shadow of Pablo Escobar, Netflix's drug war drama has found an exciting new storyline to follow and it's all headed up by Pascal, who finally gets to play the series' leading man.

Pacho -- with his blow-dried hair and patterned silk shirts -- was always positioned as a softer, more polished foil to Pablo's bull-snorting machismo.

I find myself admiring Narcos' overall design all the same, even if the show will never be completely my thing.
