Tv Season Info

Narcos: Mexico will explore the origins of the modern drug war by going back to its roots, beginning at a time when the Mexican trafficking world was a loose and disorganized confederation of independent growers and dealers. Witness the rise of the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1980s as Félix Gallardo (Diego Luna) takes the helm, unifying traffickers in order to build an empire. When DEA agent Kiki Camarena (Michael Peña) moves his wife and young son from California to Guadalajara to take on a new post, he quickly learns that his assignment will be more challenging than he ever could have imagined. As Kiki garners intelligence on Félix and becomes more entangled in his mission, a tragic chain of events unfold, affecting the drug trade and the war against it for years to come.

While the first half is comparatively slower than the other 3 seasons, the buildup to Kiki's main moment, how it's executed and the consequences it has, are flawless. The photography, production, cast, music and acquired original tv material are still this series forte.

'Narcos: Mexico' bringing us yet another set of incredible characters and compelling story-lines by becoming a wonderful additional to an already excellent series.

Awesome show. I am officially addicted to Narcos! Like the previous seasons, the acting, music, suspense, locations, cinematography was all top notch.

Michael Pena's crappy acting (does he know how to emote in real life?!) is responsible for getting bored too death whenever his parts come up, his bad acting overshadows not even other great actors in season 4 but the plot also looses it's grip when Pena's got the same face when talking to his wife, talking to a policeman, or with a gun in his face...
