Season 2
Nathan for You
Nathan for You arrived a brilliant comedy, but viewers will feel more acclimated to the series' cringeworthy wit in a second season that makes great use of Nathan Fielder's unflappable awkwardness.

Critic Reviews for Nathan for You Season 2
All Critics (10) | Top Critics (6) | Fresh (10) | Rotten (0)
The action usually unfolds on subtle, human levels that are often so bizarre, even a mind as obviously imaginative as Fielder's would struggle to make it up.
The perfectly executed prank and set up allow Fielder to dive into the deeper themes he is actually trying to explore with the show. He is hiding a much more complicated piece of comedy in a very-well executed but much more basic genre parody.
Nathan Fielder and his ever-escalating series of stunts had an even better season in year two, and the "Dumb Starbucks" episode was an instant classic.
Despite just wanting to be liked, Nathan has the awkward, deadpan, dry humor down to a science.
There are few shows that would be capable of prompting such odd, un-self-conscious spontaneity; Nathan For You achieves it by pairing its elaborate, inventive scenarios with a host who seems too dull to come up with something so diabolical.
Nathan For You uses its host's ludicrous "advice" to unearth wholly honest, startlingly funny material from its guest stars. The show's second season takes that theme to new extremes, as any good sequel should.
The real-life Nathan Fielder has created a TV persona with such a fully-formed persona, complete with almost unnoticeable physical tics, it can be hard to tell the difference between what's (who's?) real and what it isn't.
Easily the funniest show on television.
Nathan For You is undoubtedly one of the funniest shows on television, and we should all be excited that we have a fresh season of awkwardness ahead of us.
Nathan For You is arguably the strangest (and most honest) comedy currently on television. It never, ever stops being funny.

Oct 06, 2015Nathan For You brings it's own unique essence to television . Stemmed from the exaggeration of awkwardness and over observation, this show is the most splendid version of unorthodox comedy.

Jul 28, 2015This show is SO GOOD! Never a boring moment. The ideas are so bad, yet somehow believable? But also unbelievable. It's just a really great mix and Nathan Fielder plays the part so well that I'm not even sure he's fully acting so much as just being himself. Either way, sounds like a great dude.

-
Jul 31, 2014Seriously hilarious and ironically doesn't take itself very serious.
