Aimee S @RT03553967 Jun 5 As a complete ncis stan (who has tuned in since childhood and re-watched every episode twice a year for the past 4 years) I can appreciate where some people feel like the golden age has gone... HOWEVER.... I feel the new cast is warming up - its birthing, like seasons 1-4 again! For the past few series I've thought its a bit too family friendly and strayed too much from it's early days where there'd always be an inventive, dark, often gory, crime involving navel personnel, perfect for a casual viewer, while seamlessly threading in a series villian for the devotees. This series started the same as the last few but it became more gritty in later episodes and I'm interested what will come to light in the next season with the current unresolved cliffhangers! All we need now is a probie and some old school boys-club characters and we will be set! No need to recreate magic, let's make new! See more Mish M @RT25732921 03/04/2025 Always fun to watch. Why was "the padre" not searched when taken into custody, why did Jess not take the rubber band serious, amongst many other slips. How could such an important agency have no one to respond? I couldn't even finish the first episode - too disappointed 😔 See more Richard M @RT91525933 10/22/2024 Just watched Foreign Bodies, episode 2. What happened, are the writers on strike again? Was this the assignment of a bunch of third graders? This wasn't funny, it was stupid. For a crack team of agents who have seen and done it all, these people were embarrassing. At first I thought that maybe the writers had all quit to write for NCIS Origins, but that wasn't the case, because that Gibbs would be in the nut house, not a navy cop. Trust me, this I know, I had a run in with more than my share when I served. This is my favorite show, but that can Update...It's gotten worse. It's like everyone has forgotten how to investigate, even McGee. And 'fez' has gotten ridiculous. I just can't relate to his character. All good things come to an end, and I really really really hate to say this, but so has NCIS.
