One such athlete is New York Hawks wide receiver Terrence "T.K." King (Mehcad Brooks), who struggles to rebound from his shooting and turns to drugs to cope. As the pressure to return to the field mounts, the arrival of promising rookie Damon Razor (guest star Gaius Charles) only increases T.K.'s worries. But despite the problems facing the individual players, the team's biggest challenge comes in the form of owner Marshall Pitman (guest star Evan Handler), whose contentious divorce and money woes lead him to rope team "fixer" Nico Careles (Scott Cohen) into some dubious practices that could jeopardize the Hawks' future. That's not a knock on Roughness or other USA shows, which are some of cable's most delightful.
