Season 1
Neighbors From Hell
Neighbors From Hell wants to be edgy like South Park, but its lazy and tasteless humor resembles a knockoff Family Guy more than anything else.

Critic Reviews for Neighbors From Hell Season 1
All Critics (14) | Top Critics (7) | Fresh (5) | Rotten (9)
The writers are too willing to go for conventional laughs and plots again and again. Watching the show isn't like going through hell - it's a lot more boring.
Calling it witless, tasteless and a waste of time is an act of mercy.
"Edgy" has become the new lazy, in a lot of cases, and that's what ends up happening to Neighbors from Hell.
"Neighbors From Hell" offers that flavor of manic weirdness and disturbing punch lines that animated shows traffic in these days, lingering around the offensiveness level of FX's "Archer" but stopping just short of the potty humor of "Family Guy."
[A] potentially sharp-witted commentary on media melts before one's eyes into an occasionally amusing but mostly mundane domestic comedy.
This is a jokey and sharp cartoon, related more to "Family Guy" than anything else. The gags come fast and furious, mostly at the expense of our modern lifestyle.
"Neighbors From Hell" is an odd collision of comedic sensibilities.
Sartre wrote hell is other people. Sometimes it's also TBS TV shows.
The show has a lot of pop-culture gags. But unlike, say, "Family Guy," it doesn't have too many. And it has an actual plot.
TBS' animated comedy, Neighbors from Hell, strains to find the humor in the concept and falls short.
There's a lot to like in this pilot episode because the jokes range from over-the-top sight gags to subtle "blink-and-you-missed-it" quips and the cast is very strong.
In the vein of edgy cartoons like South Park and Family Guy comes this little gem of a series, which packs a punch of irreverent fun that grown-ups are sure to like.
