What also sets Nine Puzzles apart is how refreshingly fun it can be, a welcome respite from the frequently dour murder mysteries that usually grace our screens. Go to Full Review

Matt O @RT25895536 May 16 The only thing keeping this from a full 5 stars for me is a weak serial killer. Everything else? Outstanding. I loved Kim Da-mi in this. She brings quirkiness and vulnerability to Ena, the (autistic?) genius profiler who’s haunted by her uncle’s unsolved murder. I don't think I've seen her in anything since The Witch: Part 1(genius Park Hoon-jung), and shes terrific! Son Suk-ku feels like he was born to play a detective. Two brilliant people with a shared obsession for the truth. My favorite character in any TV show is the female detective (or profiler) who’s consistently the smartest person in the room, with crazy powers of observation and Ena delivers that in spades. I hope the buzz convinces Disney+ for a second season. If you love smart, atmospheric Korean crime thrillers with top-tier lead performances and a strong female protagonist, Nine Puzzles is an easy recommendation. See more Tevin H @RT46676306 05/22/2025 Korean dramas can be hit or miss. But Nine Puzzles isn’t one of those misses. Every episode makes you pay more and more attention to the story that’s unfolding. I got a feeling I know where it’s leading but that doesn’t decrease my interest level one bit. It is a must see series that will have you begging for more. See more Read all reviews
