Engaging and watchable style, but the convoluted script, the haphazard bullet style way it is delivered makes it hard work to follow. So ultimately it is an unenjoyable experience. I can see why Channel 4 cancelled season four.

Great show! Fingers crossed for a 4th series!

Superb - gritty Northern humour, great drama, and a powerful matriarch in charge. British drama at it’s very best.
