Very British. Loved the cinematography, too, and how they blended "real life" scenes with "acted" scenes so it captured Nolly's likely experience of her own life being so tightly linked/blended with her performance persona. Helena Bonham-Carter is excellent as Noele/Nolly, as is Augustus Prew as her friend Tony Adams (Adam Chance on 'Crossroads'). It's a really touching, nuanced show, that made me both laugh and cry.
