The villain's backstory could have been written better but it's not so awful to warrant all of the hate I see in the comments. Also, I would love to see more of Obi-Wan and Leia's friendship in the future! Their chemistry on screen and their dynamic reminded so much of the Obi-Wan and Anakin in the prequel trilogies. Plus, it is definitely worth watching just to see Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen reprise their roles and fill in the emotional gap between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Plus, the interaction between "Ben" Kenobi and a young Princess Leia is priceless. And it's wonderful to visit Alderaan at its height, and to see Bail Organa again (who is a vital but under-utilized character in the SW mythos). See more Devin W @RT47473860 May 31 Extremely disappointing. Beloved characters are treated so poorly. The whole show feels ridiculous. What they did to Vader, taking him from intimidating cold and calculated and turning him into a foolish silly sounding shell of what he once was is truly a let down. The show heavily features several other character and arcs that are very misplaced in a show called "Obi wan Kenobi" The lack of continuity specifically with the grand inquisitors species and how it’s represented on screen is also very jarring. It’s exceedingly difficult to even believe this is the same universe as the other Star Wars movies. It feels like no love was put into this show and the Vader and obi wan battle is bad and overly flashy but I do enjoy seeing Hayden in the suit and dreaming about what could’ve been. Not a huge fan of Reva, but she was still better than the rest of the Inquistors. However, the final duel between Obi Wan and Vader is fantastic, it is true to the originals.
