This won't be the Obi-Wan Kenobi some viewers are looking for, but Ewan McGregor's soulful performance and some refreshing twists make this a satisfying -- if circuitous -- addition to the Star Wars saga. Read critic reviews

The show had some good moments, but overall it could've been much better, especially having Vader in Kenobi which should have been a home run but low budget and poor writing lowered the rating on this show. They should have kept the shows storyline mainly focused on Kenobi and Vader but instead they chose to focus on Reva and Leia who captured a large amount of screen time.

As with so many of these Star War shows, there is no respect for who the character has already been established to be. People change through their lives but the characters are being presented in a way that makes them unbelievable with their established arc. The inquisitor who becomes the "hero" at the end showed herself to be malicious and cruel without any need to "establish" her evil and so she remained an unlikable character (I was rooting for Darth). The acting was awful and the "plot" against Darth was laughable. Darth himself did not act like Darth (a recurring problem). Leia's presence made no sense to the original story arc. The enjoy wasn't enjoyable to watch. Disney has trashed the franchise.

It was fine. When the show focused on Kenobi and Vader it's everything you'd want it to be. Too often though does the plot stray into side plots no one came here for that aren't well acted or written. The inclusion of child Leia was cute, if not for the laughable chase scene and hiding under a cloak moment. The Reva character was just a disaster. Far too much screen time for a new character that wasn't compelling. Poor performance from the actress and pulls too much time from who should be the main villain (Vader). And add her to the list of character to survive a mortal wound in Star Wars. If you removed Reva and made some of the Leia moments just more believable you'd have a great show. Cheers to Ewan and Hayden

To take beloved Star Wars characters and put them into this poorly written, nonsensical story was a horrible mistake. Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi) is a fantastic actor, and he did the best he could while reprising a role he was made to play. Unfortunately, the awful writing and terrible story gave him nothing to work with. This series adds absolutely nothing to the Vadar/Obi-Wan story, while actually taking away from some of the things I liked about the original and prequal trilogies. Reva was a nonsensical villain; who's motivations, plans, actions, and attempted redemption left me scratching my head as to how a professional writer could create this character and not have anyone else in the room go, "well, but that doesn't make any sense". "Action" scenes were equally silly. I found myself laughing more often than not. This show became a cartoon on at least a few occasions (sneaking a person out in a trench-coat had me wondering if I was hallucinating). Unfortunately, I feel like this series was made to cash in on a familiar name. The worst part is, a story centered around Obi-Wan during this time of defeat could have been amazing.

Just terrible writing constructing plot holes you could drive a truck through. Some action and performances were decent. Overall not worth watching

Terrible lazy writing. Obi wan is one of my favorite characters from the series, but even that couldn't keep me invested into the story. No weight to characters, everything feels forced to advance plot to certain points. It was dumb.

It just wasn't as good as other Star Wars shows. Mandalorian season 2 had a good plot and was fairly entertaining compared to this which isn't nearly as good. It's boring and the plot wasn't really there.

This is maybe my favorite thing in the Star Wars canon.

The dialogue was lacking in depth, the storyline failed to evoke excitement and suspense. Furthermore, the decision to portray Obi-Wan Kenobi as stronger than Darth Vader seemed inconsistent and audacious, given Darth Vader's expected level of strength. Particularly when considering that earlier in the story, Darth Vader had displayed considerably greater strength than Kenobi.

Here are the main problems with Obi Wan Kenobi: 1. It feels cheap and unrefined and cramped 2. The plot surrounding Reva is ridiculous 3. The Grand Inquisitor & 5th Bro don't look accurate enough plus no Jason Issacs 4. Adults slow asf at catching children 5. There are not enough flashbacks to enrich the story 6. Shakey Cameras and terrible visual angles 7. The show lacks musical score pieces from the prequels 8. Reva 9. Lightsaber Duels 10. No Aliens 11. Misconceptions of Bail Organa's knowledge of Anakin as Darth Vader 12. The show being a limited series 13. It looks fan made and not authentic 14. Lazy writing 15. Last min fan service The first, fifth and last episode were the best in my opinion but overall they could've done better
