Alain E @AlainE 2d The first two seasons were exceptionally strong maintaining a balance between human interactions and various adversities. Very good rapid editing between the different sub stories. Medical problems were approached correctly without the triumphalism of shows like The Pitt. Tragic situations were dealt with genuine concern. Numerous birth scenes without attempting to show a single umbilical cord. I thought that it was wise to avoid any nudity. There are so many love scenes that if they included nudity the show would deteriorate to soft porn. In the third season we had the silly birthday masquerade ball and then on season 4 right from episode 1 the writing quality went downhill and it got transformed into an average rom com and I stopped watching. So much that I’ve watched the series twice! I love all the cast. Billy is a bit annoying but good at heart. The love between Patrick and Nina is my favorite. Heartbreaking but beautiful.
