very sweet and heartwarming show, even if not my absolute favourite. Very glad it exists, very good messages about family, social acceptance and overall wholesome themes that give me hope for humanity. Rita Moreno is absolute perfection

Amazing family show and a great show to talk about life and family with also the use of humor. This show makes me smile and feel understood all the time.

first of all, how they dare to talk about history without knowing, if you don't know for sure DONT TALK ABOUT IT, they said terrible and incorrect things about Che Guevara. The character building is kind of stereotypical, the rebel teenager gay who is a social justice warrior, the teenage boy who just cares about his looks, the mom and the cuban grandma that is the most stereotypical of them all. Plus, the fact that just the grandma was born and raised on cuba, but the others on the family still call themselves cubans ¿¿?? you can't be latin or cuban if you didn't were raised there, cultures are about shared experiences not about accent, food or language. But, if you can get beyond this and the recorded laughter, the plot is good, it made me laugh and cry, i enjoyed it

Amazing show!!! There are no new family shows like this. Very strong protective Mom that moniters what her kids post on social sites, always knows their whereabouts, forces her kids to get part time jobs, checks up on them at concerts, friend's houses, dances, etc. I love to see good old fashioned hands on, nosey, 'oh no you're not' parenting. Kids are exposed to too much too soon these days and they have too much free rein and think they should be in control of their own lives except they have no idea what they're doing and no experience to base their decisions on. This show is modern while still being very traditional and perfectly dispicts how a close family should be. I just love everything about this show, it really touches your heart and makes you care about the people in it. The cast is simply phenomenonal. It's so rare that you find something so absolutely flawless and everyone that experiences it falls in love with it, but this show is it. The people that have seen it are passionate about it and are doing everything within their power to ensure a 4th season on Netflix. I hope there will be many more seasons because this is the kind of show familes need more of. How many shows have had Hispanic leads? I Love Lucy, Chico and the Man, George Lopez, One Day at a Time. That's all I can think of. This show is so right and at the right time, it would be a tragedy to take this away from people.
