In order of best to worst: - The animation -The characters -The story The animation is of unbelievably low quality. Poorly coloured frames; freeze-frame fights; and skipped action sequences to save budget are rife throughout. This is the best aspect of the season. Saitama's character has been fundamentally misunderstood. The bored superhero is gone, replaced by a complete moron. In the first season, Saitama deals with monsters as a chore: he knows why it must be done, just derives no excitement or pleasure from it. In this season, he seems to have forgotten what a monster is. He behaves like an incurious toddler, wandering randomly without motivation. Genos spends the entire season washing dishes. About the story, the less said the better. This "season" takes a massive dump on everything enjoyable about OPM. I will not watch the next series unless there is a change of management and production studio. See more RJ N. @MagaGirl Mar 12 I convinced my partner (who hates Anime) to watch Season 1 because it’s perfect, hilarious, self-deprecating, and destroys a lot of the cringe tropes many Anime’s suffer from. She loved it! Season 2 she pushed through but constantly kept nagging it was becoming more like those ‘Other Anime Shows’. And, behold, Season 3…just generic cringe Anime, no longer funny or engaging. Just an endless barrage backstories for irrelevant heroes and monsters.
