Among new Star Trek shows... [the] show that I feel captures the spirit of Star Trek the most is the show that's not technically Star Trek. Go to Full Review

Gino P. @Ginop711 Jan 20 I've been a Trekkie since the first show came out. This follows in many ways, but adds the humor that is rarely seen in Star Trek. Interesting cast of characters and the tension between the Captain and Number One really kept is interesting. I really hope this comes back on, the time between seasons is unacceptable See more HALL 9000 @Alejandre Jan 12 I really liked this show. I think the performance of the actors are amazing, specially Isaac, Ed Mercer, Kelly Grayson, etc., You can say they really invested time on writing the stories, dialogues, illumination, production, sceneries, everything is just fine. To accomplish this everyone must love what they are doing. This season leave you just wanting to see the next. -Spoiler Alert- This show touches so many themes as AI self-awareness, robot slavement, ethical concepts derived from high technology, the origin of no interference with less advanced alien civilizations, you just find your self immersed on a utopic society beyond greedy, money and working together towards a common goal, giving the best of your self to everyone. The Orville finds the perfect balance between serious topics, comedy, action, adventure. I think it will be part of our culture in the coming years, a Sci-Fi classic. I just can say, you will not be disappointed watching The Orville. Amazing piece of art. Anne Winters really pulled it off, but why did she have to die. i guess that's what made, her sacrifice. and the ending brings it all together. but please oh please, don't' stop there. See more Tonya K @Tonya_The_Kitsune Aug 17 This season was finally where the show finally found its ground and what it is as a show. It is sad this was the last season of the show and it was canceled. I hope one day The Orville can have it's Next Generation moment as well See more Oli W Aug 16 It’s enjoyable, but the episodes are so long and somehow there’s not enough filling, found myself skipping dialogue and scenes that were dead air. The show follows unusual story lines, where most shows may have a couple of episodes about side characters Orville focuses 3/4 episodes solely on secondary character, which at over an hour per episode becomes excessive. There’ll be a major plot line one episode then a couple of non related after. I really couldn’t care less about the love interest of a robot yet there was three episodes that felt dedicated. Cast was great, but it’s like there was no precise plot to follow other than a couple episodes per season See more Read all reviews
