Robert M 08/29/2024 If you are looking for an anime that is darker, this is for you. It is nice to have a story about the villain that is well written. The world is well thought out and there is social character progression. He is super overpowered but that isn't what limits him. See more Alessandro A 05/09/2024 There are so many flaws that it is hard to list them all. - Childish and immature inspite of being 13+ most of the time - Dialogues laughable - Poor plot and concept. Where do the authors want to lead us? - Illogical decisions of the characters, sometimes it contradicts itself - Poor rythm, sometimes it's really boring and slow Aside from that there are some good ideas, but all in all I doubt I would watch it now if I knew how I felt about it. See more Ravens love 12/07/2023 A great introduction to a series and possibly one of the best examples of world building ive seen, it probably helps that the writer was a D&D player but thats not the point The story is pretty much the standard story of the Isekai variety, powerful player transported to a game world, weve seen it before, well see it again Season 1 comprises of 3 books from the series and like season tends to focus on the relationships between Ains and his guardians/maids, the first of which is the succubus Albedo as he helps a village out of respect for the one who saved him while also, unfortunately for Ains, giving one of his guardians the impression that he wants to conquer this new world in a casual conversation, After saving the warrior captain and the village while finding out his strength in this new world, he spends a bit of time adventuring with Naburo-Gamma in order to find out information on how this new world works a little better and is quite frankly my favorite part of this season, i enjoyed how Clementine gets her comeuppance and how much joy Naburo gets from her part in this story The third story-line revolves around Shaltier Bloodfallen, a vampire who ends up in the control of an unknown force, who or what is attempting to control her we dont find out in this season and as far as ive read in the books it hasn't given a distinct answer yet but Ains ends up having to kill one of his beloved children honestly i love this series and after watching this first season just on a whim i decided to buy all the books See more Pawe Mateusz B 07/15/2023 Childish edge with no point for 12yo thinking they are sooo adult for watching such inaccurate things.
