Laws of Gravity

Episode Info

Guerra (Otto Sanchez) continues to threaten Alvarez (Kirk Acevedo), who shows no fear. After Alvarez talks to Rebadow (George Morfogen) about his experiences in WWII, Alvarez makes a strange deal with his tormentor. Guerra can have one free shot at him with the shank if he agrees not to kill him. Hill (Harold Perrineau Jr.), preparing for his mother's funeral, learns that Redding (Anthony Chisholm) had always loved the woman. Rebadow is determined to find a way to help his grandson, who is dying of leukemia. Stanton (Thomas G. Waites) continues to deny that he killed Keenan. When Montgomery (Peter Criss) demands more money from O'Reily (Dean Winters) to keep quiet, O'Reily lets Stanton know who accused him. O'Reily's mother, Suzanne (Betty Lynn Buckley) is sentenced to community service, and decides to teach music at Oz, despite O'Reily's warnings about the enemies he's made there. A hobbled Officer Brass (Blake Robbins) returns to Oz, determined to find out who crippled him. Governor Devlin (Zeljko Ivanek) appoints a new liaison to the prison, Eleanor O'Connor (Ellen McElduff), who also happens to be McManus' (Terry Kinney) ex-wife. Brass is unhappy with a desk job, so McManus suggests he complain to O'Connor. Peter Schibetta (Eddie Malavarca) returns to Em City from the psych ward. The FBI uncovers Pancamo's (Chuck Zito) connection to Hank Schillinger's death, and a fight breaks out between the Aryans and the Sicilians. With Said's (Eamon Walker) behavior growing increasingly violent and erratic, McManus assigns him to help Omar White (Michael Wright) stay straight. Said gives the unstable White a new mantra -- "I will not fight." Cloutier (Luke Perry) is still recovering from his horrific injuries, but a strange spirit keeps Kirk (Sean Dugan) and his cohorts from killing the reverend. The episode was directed by actor Rob Morrow.
