Especially they tried Telangana slang and it was horrible to watch. Season 1 Telugu dubbing was really amazing. My strong recommendation never dub with Telangana Language. See more arvind s @Arvind100 02/12/2025 Paatal Lok S1 was one of the best things to come out during COVID. It was very brutal and violent, but a brilliant show nevertheless. And the wait for S2 has been a long one that finally dropped on Prime earlier this month. Inspector Hathiram Chaudhary continues his grind at the Outer Jamna Par Police station, not getting recognition for his work. His former partner, Imran has been promoted and is now a senior to Hathi Ram. When a prominent member Naga leader is brutally murdered and beheaded, both Imran and Hathi Ram travel to Nagaland to solve this case. Jaideep Ahlawat is a generational talent. Actors like him are rare. Admittedly they do take up forgettable roles, but when they are given something solid, they do deliver. Hathiram is a straight officer and his dedication to his job despite all the bureaucracy and corruption around him is phenomenal and he manages to bring that out in a very effective manner. And being a Haryanvi character, he doles out cuss words in the most poetic way possible. Ishwak Singh returns in a smaller role but leaves a lasting impression as Hathiram's friend and colleague. Newcomers to the series, Jahnu Barua, Nagesh Kukunoor, Tillotama Shome & Prashant Tamang play key characters effectively. Season 2 is almost entirely based in Nagaland and I love how the makers have captured the location in the most authentic way possible. There aren't any stereotypes that usually happen with Hindi language shows/movies, and that is one of the best things about Paatal Lok. Paatal Lok S2 does tone down the graphic violence from season 1 but it still has its fair share. Nevertheless, I loved how they have taken the story forward, with our beloved Hathiram Chaudhary at the centre of it all. Given the ending, I am not sure if there will be another season but here is to hoping there is!
