Palm Royale was always camp, always melodrama, yet this season feels particularly indebted to the rich tradition of sixties sitcoms, with their bombastic narrative tropes of twins played by the same actor and accidental switcheroos. Go to Full Review

The cast is to die for, with Janey sparring with, well, everyone, including a younger lover, while Bibb is so good she deserves her own series. Go to Full Review

The series is what you make of it. Call it camp, call it meta, call it melodrama, call it comedy -- call it whatever you want. Go to Full Review

...Palm Royale stands as a meticulously crafted social satire, where each character embodies a carefully designed archetype that the actors and actresses portray masterfully. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

We keep trying to have some patience with Palm Royale, but this show is still too much in love with the visuals, needle drops and word salads it pushes out to viewers, and its characters remain ciphers we find a hard time caring about. Go to Full Review

Jennifer K. @Jennxs 4d This is a repeat of my season 1 review. I did feel that the last couple of episodes lacked a little of the cleverness of the rest of the show in plot execution and dialog, but the show’s still phenomenal. Funny, unusually clever and refreshingly unpredictable. The show keeps you guessing as to the true intentions and character of its players. The statement about women that this show makes also is much more complex and mature than a lot of the rather ham handed movies and TV we often see today. All in the context of Broadway-quality episodes. Ricky Martin is a surprise and a delight. Kristin Wiig, Alison Janney and Carol Burnett are always fabulous and Leslie Bibb is such a 180 from her character in White Lotus! I had no idea she could play a character so wry and sharp! I have a feeling that certain professionals who panned this show must be devoid of humor and sophistication. See more Andrei D 4d Everyone tries hard to make it interesting but most of the plot is stupid in not a funny way; needs more singing and more Wiig See more jeff G. @azbbyes Feb 1 Season 2 sucks. We quit it three eps in. No longer has any purpose to it or flow. See more Chris C @CCDavi Jan 29 I loved both seasons of Palm Royale!! I loved everything about it from the concept to the cast, costumes and performances. I’m sorry it’s over. I came to love the characters and how all the zanyness came to a fun conclusion. Palm Royale is a delightful departure from the dark, ever-violent content being served on all video platforms. I’m truly going to miss it and it’s the only show I’ve recommended to friends who also need a break from the dreariness of life today. Kristin Wiig is an amazing talent and smart to surround herself with true thoroughbreds like Carol Burnett, Allison Janney, Laura Dern, Josh Lucas and Ricky Martin. Leslie Bibb was great as Dinah and Julia Duffy searching for her bootlegger! All of the characters were fun and authentic weaving into their parts familiar and beloved touches…especially Carol Burnett! I think I’ll start a Palm Royale club, like a book club, and watch it again with friends. See more Riad Z. @Rzand Jan 24 Fun, great cast, snappy story. Simple plot but hey, not everything needs to be complicated. Relax and enjoy the performances. See more Georgina K @GeorgieDK Jan 18 Camp, fun, fast, with an incredible plot which moves all over the place. The acting is wonderful, Kirstin Wiig and Leslie Bibb are fantastic as are the surrounding cast. The set is unbelievable. Loved everything about this season. See more Read all reviews
