A lot goes on in Chadder Vale, perhaps too much as so many characters are introduced and given fleeting backstories. It is somewhat overwhelming, packed and needs breathing room, still, it’s a worthy idea and Mosaku is nothing short of phenomenal. The description suggesting supernatural events was a little off putting for us, but it soon became clear that the strange events and deaths are caused by humans. At least we think so-we need a season 2 to answer some of our questions. The last episode certainly suggests there would be a season 2. The performances and characters are very good. I was confused by the character John- he's just weird. Performances and characters we particularly like are Rita, Eddie and Hubert , but the others are also interesting.
