The Peabody Award-winning comic explores the modern cultural and political landscape with depth and sincerity. In each weekly episode, he uses his unique comedic voice and storytelling skill to investigate the larger trends shaping the fragmented world. According to Netflix, Minhaj -- who also serves as an executive producer -- is the first Indian-American host of a weekly comedy show.

01/18/2020 Hasan is still owning the game! See more 09/07/2019 I bumped into the Patriot Act show by an accident. I am an avid admirer of Bill Maher "Real Time" show but after watching Patriot Act I want to scream like drunk Jesus "woman, why you kept the best for the last"! It is good to see that a comedy show can be informative, original, funny, not boring, and timeless. What makes him "almost" unique is that he does not need any help of the White House lunacies to attract the audience. Most other comedians are so lame in this regard. Disagree but what I liked about Mr Minhaz is that he openly talks about his faith (at least he is honest). Unlike Bill Maher, who hide behind the agnostic veil when he is a staunch Jew, a die-hard follower of a foreign nation "Israel" and at the same he claims to be a real liberal (What a hypocrite!). Hope he will learn better from Mr. Minhaj. "The truth will set you free"! In the research dept. there seems to be some weaknesses. In the Canada episode Mr. Minhaj has gone overboard being disrespectful to the Canadian premier. Wish a long success for the show at Netflix. See more Read all reviews
