What to Know

Critics Consensus

Jeremy and Mark reach a place of relative hope in their lives and proceed to hilariously smash it all to pieces with their gallingly awful - and perversely relatable - decision making in the penultimate season of Peep Show.

Hugh Montgomery Independent (UK) 04/18/2019
Though this tale of two emotionally stunted flatmates isn't quite as snortworthy as it once was, it's gained a kind of pathos in its middle age, bound up with its lead duo's near-pathological inability to change. Go to Full Review
Ben Walsh Independent (UK) 04/18/2019
It's still the best thing David Mitchell and Robert Webb have ever been involved in and it's probably, along with Father Ted, Channel 4's funniest sitcom. Go to Full Review
Alice Jones Independent (UK) 04/18/2019
As usual, the cringe-factor ratcheted up until Pompous and Punchable had each delivered a tour de force of squirm. Go to Full Review

Its weirdly comforting having these spiteful, awful idiots back in one's life. Go to Full Review
John Byrne RTÉ (Ireland) 04/18/2019
Sure, the now well-established face-to-camera and spoken thoughts schticks remain, and the characters are almost exactly the same, but the central duo of Mark and Jez are just as hilariously clueless as ever. Go to Full Review
David Butcher Radio Times 04/18/2019
It may be series eight but the exploits of our odd couple are as beautifully imagined as ever. Go to Full Review

03/27/2022 Peep Show is one of the most hilarious and unique shows of all time. Definitely one of my top 5 or even 3 greatest TV shows of all time. The comedy is top notch and it proves you dont have to have a big budget with lots of effects to have an amazing show. So well written, David Mitchell and Robert Webb are gods of comedy. Every season is incredible, none of them slack at all. It's so quotable, I love every minute! See more 02/17/2018 one of the funniest shows ever. See more 07/28/2014 Nothing about this show should be good. The premise is awful, the actors are unappealing and the stories are unoriginal...yet, I can't help but love this show. Idk what it is about it that keeps drawing me in but I love this show. See more 06/15/2014 Arriesgado show que usa el POV como nadie lo habìa hecho antes. See more 02/18/2014 Still massively brilliant 8 years in. The 9nth season can't get here soon enough! See more 02/02/2014 unbelievably funny. the wedding episode!! See more Read all reviews
