Krissy S. @KrissysBRoll Jul 19 THIS MINI SERIES REMINDED ME OF WHEN I SPEND A WEEK IN THE DESERT A FEW YEARS AGO. I WAS SO PEACEFUL AND HAPPY. I DIDN’T HAVE MY PHONE CONSTANTLY GOING OFF. I DIDN’T HAVE ANY CARES IN THE WORLD(EXCEPT THE BLACK WIDOWS). EVERYTHING WAS JUST… QUIET. IT MAKES SENSE TO MY WHY PEOPLE WANT TO VANLIFE AND REMOTE LIVE. MAYBE CONNECTING MORE WITH NATURE IT’S WHAT WE COULD ALL USE. THIS IS A COMING OF AGE STORY ABOUT A GIRL TRYING TO NAVIGATE THROUGH EMOTIONS & THE WILDERNESS THE ENDING LEAVES YOU QUESTIONING BUT THATS WHAT LEAVES YOU WANTING MORE. Enjoyed seeing her Evolve and Grow as she learns to Survive in the Wilderness. The Ending was definitely a Cliffhanger, I really hope there is a Season 2 of this. Very pretty scenery is kind of fun, but at the end of episode 2 the next 6 episodes should be a camera watching her body decay. This might be a good book, where we hear the characters inner thoughts, but in film with little dialogue and no narration all we can do is guess. Also a very pollyannaish view of what it is really like to try to survive in the woods. This show is a fantasy world where bears are our friends and male strangers in the woods have the best of intentions toward a lone attractive woman. I rolled my eyes too many times. Lastly, if this encourages even one teen to run away and try to survive by themselves in a forest where they are injured or worse....... The movie goes nowhere, the main character goes nowhere. The dialog -- ooops, sorry -- there is no dialog.
