Critic Reviews for Pepper Dennis: Season 1
Audience Reviews for Pepper Dennis: Season 1

Apr 27, 2021In my opinion Pepper Dennis was unfairly judged by most critics. It also had the misfortune of being the final series to debut on the WB network, which was shuttered and transitioned into the CW. Pepper Dennis was never given the chance to grow into a second season. Perfectly cast, well written, and lots of harmless fun. The core "will they or won't they" romance between Charlie (Josh Hopkins) and Pepper (Rebecca Romijn) is reminiscent of classic series such as Remington Steele, Moonlighting, and Castle. Unfortunately there are only 13 episodes of Pepper Dennis. Thankfully the final episode offers partial resolution for some plot elements, but this series ended far too soon. A very entertaining, light hearted series with likeable actors and characters.
