This is a show about trying to develop real connections with others, and it's often quite moving. Watch it now, while it's just as young and awkward and full of potential as the audience it's intended for.

Oct 8, 2015 | Full Review…

The Australian dramedy is sincere, a little silly and has no American counterpart.

Oct 8, 2015 | Full Review…

Spend enough time around the show and it starts to grow on you in a mainstream 80s BBC sitcom kind of way.

Oct 8, 2015 | Full Review…

The pilot episode is more amusing than hilarious, but it's often delicately funny thanks to Mr. Thomas' odd duck character and his reactions to those around him.

Oct 8, 2015 | Full Review…

It's a warm and hilarious journey that's worth watching.

Oct 8, 2015 | Full Review…

It's a wry, down-to-Earth and often-moving account of how relationships with friends and family evolve as we grow into adulthood.

    Sensível. Inteligente. Agridoce.

Please Like Me is a must-watch show that manages to talk about important issues of mental illness, sexuality, relationships and family in a very light, witty and original approach. The cringe-worthy moments, the awkwardness of all characters and the brilliantly writen dialogues --combined with the beautiful camera work--, make for a very special and unique show. Heart-warming and relatable, do yourself a favor and wacth it!

Honest, heartbreaking, funny, different. Please like me became my favourite series very quickly.

Please Like Me is one of those shows I have been meaning to watch forever, but I just never got to And I honestly should have started this show way earlier! This is a underrated gem of a show that I know a lot more people would love if they watch it. The show is small and easy to love. It is funny and down to earth whilst managing to deal with serious issues in a very respectful way. The characters are just lovely and I have fallen in love with this little show. I am sad it got cancelled, but I still have a bunch of episodes left to watch and I am flying through them!

Charmingly offbeat and surprisingly clever, Please Like Me innovates and entertains by putting honesty and heart at usually stereotyped and neglected characters.

I saw a gifset of this show on tumblr, so I decided to check it out, and was hooked from the first five minutes. I binge watched the whole series in a few days and now I'm lost because I ran out of episodes.
