No one involved seems to want Portlandia to be anything other than Portlandia at this point, and given how consistently good the show's been over the years that's probably the right call to make.

Given the show's flippant depiction of youth, the plots involving middle-aged characters feel considerably more resonant and sincere.

Audience Reviews for Portlandia: Season 6

Languishes on and on....a few laughs here and there, but overall does not live up to it preceding seaons. Entire episodes dedicated to one skit as opposed to previous and proven multi skit formula that captured viewers.

First show of season kind of iffy, gotta get better as they loosen up.
