The show was originally interesting but the finale was not a blind test and everyone voted based on who they liked more and not who had the better food and deserved to win. Robbie served RAW bison and somehow won $100,000??? They all said he “grew” but if that’s the case why did he serve raw food in the finale. See more Tyler C @RT28646559 05/02/2025 I loved this!! It was real everyday people cooking and doing what they do. Of course there was the Villian who tried to play the game due to her lack of talent and chooses to lie instead of cooking but overall very well put together show. I love how they are their own judges and they have to rate each other. Very different dynamics and skills came together to make some rally cool stuff. I really hope there is another season! I would definitely watch. The one thing that gets me a little is how the voting at the end is calculated and goes because you have people who dont want someone to win. Mike was consistent all season, shown impressive innovation throughout for his age, worked as a team, shown growth and helped basically everyone and saved a lot of their dishes with quick thinking and innovation, so in my opinion he was the clear winner. Everyone wanted to work with him and he was the one to fear all season. Plus his platting was everything, especially the chocolate caviar tasting, that was amazing, new and a fresh idea that was executed flawlessly. So I really dont see how he didnt win. Most of them didn't even vote based off the food. Mike CLEARLY should've won. See more LEOR T @RT19997438 11/10/2024 This show is a mix of Big Brother with Master Chef . on the paper it sounds cool but eventually it falls apart . I managed to put allot of my issues aside but the Finale got me Pissed . Im Extremely Disappointed and Angry that Mike didn't win. watching someone getting robbed is Very very unpleasant . talent got no room here - and nothing is more irritating to watch than a clear winner losing to someone who's half as good only because he got more friends. Moreover - almost every elimination was made because they were afraid from each other / or they wanted to keep their friends. Good Food was never the discussion. throughout the show and the finale, Mike made phenomenal dishes, and they all were amazed by him - so why did they choose Robbie? Im So pissed ive waisted so much time on this stupid show. I hope the show gets cancelled See more Jesse N @RT17943012 07/03/2024 I think the whole concept for the show was amazing. It was generic cooking show meets Big Brother. And it worked for a majority of the show. My only issue with it was at the end. Having the former contestants, not only be the taste testers, but it not being a blind taste test was the wrong call (although it's easy to argue they would've known whose dish is whose, still not the best choice overall). Adding on to my gripes with the finale episode, the way they shot the tallying of the votes felt very much predictable and dragged out. Overall, it was a sour note to end it on but the concept was fresh and exciting. We need more new and exciting spins like this over the same ol same ol generic cooking shows. I wouldn't pay much mind to all the negative reviews, they're all basically just complaining about the finale and letting that be the bases of which they judged the totality of the show. See more Jonathan S @RT81826233 06/11/2024 I think it's a pathetic when you have a "cooking" show, a skill show where talent takes the back burner. There were alot of incredible chefs and personalities but I guess if people feel sorry for you and you cry all the time then merit goes in the trash. It feel very much like a popularity contest where all the contestants who were bitter at the end couldn't check their egos and make the right vote. The only upside of the show was watching Mike do his thing. If you want to see a show where people feel sympathetic and hand over 100 k to a weak and undeserving chef then maybe this will be to your liking. What an utter disappointment.
