Amateur fashion stylists and designers compete to craft the best possible clothes while attempting to cope with various thematic, material and time constraint challenges. Challenges include fresh takes on materials like fake fur and concepts like the classic cocktail dress, a color-themed team challenge, and one where the competitors are in charge of dressing stars of another reality show. Having been on the air since 2004, "Project Runway" has provided some professional designers, including Christian Siriano and Leanne Marshall, launching points for their careers.

It’s a compact season, as if the waters are being tested, but the concept and casting remain solid and celebrity stylist Law Roach is a welcome addition to the judging ranks with his unimpressed critiques. Go to Full Review

In the balance, Project Runway is still a lot of fun to watch, but with Tim missing in action and the focus on drama, the calories feel emptier than ever. Go to Full Review

Cal C Dec 2 Its unwatchable. Don't care about the designers, who wins or loses, the judging is terrible cannot stand Law. The editing of the episodes sucks, the shorter format is bad, the lack of focus on the actual clothing is excruciating. I'm not sure how Hulu has a worse version of a Bravo drama reality show but here it is. See more Mari D. @MariDi Nov 7 Hulu is the worst thing that could’ve ever happened to such a beloved show as Project Runway! I’ve followed and loved all the seasons and iterations of the show, till season 21. What happen? Hulu happened! Season 21 is a cartoonish and lackluster story-telling compilation of the otherwise amazing and talented contestants. I felt cheated, as it’s lost the classic foundation of the show past seasons. Hulu production’s version of the judges is as bad as it gets. Why? How can you messed up such a loved, and amazing show?. Love Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia and Christian Siriano, as well as guest judges Zack Posen and Michael Kors. Law Roach’s (while an amazing stylist) demeanor as a judge felt superficial and overall mean, I’m not a fan. Hulu, please fix it and make it work! See more T J Oct 29 I normally have enjoyed Project Runway but I felt like this one was done poorly. The contestants argued not stop, especially Veejay, she pushed everyone's buttons on purpose and then played innocent. She shouldn't have even gotten to the end because she didn't actually have a big reveal in her outfit which was a requirement. And the judges taste level on this season had me puzzled. The ugliest outfit and they liked it the most. See more Evie B Oct 24 I can’t say I enjoyed this season. From the very first episode, I could tell I wasn’t going to like it. The long waits to find out who was eliminated, lackluster guest stars, and almost manufactured drama all contributed to why my rating is so low. This season felt more focused on drama than on fashion and the fashion was the reason I started watching in the first place. See more Christie T @tchris1223 Oct 18 This season feels like a cheap throwback to Project Runway of old. Law Rouch is the worst judge in the history of the show and only wants to put people down. Elaine and Brandon had taken the show in a direction of true fashion and positivity, which felt so much more of the times. This season is trying to bring back the reality show drama in a way that feels so 2007. See more Kathleen R Oct 10 I waited enthusiastically for the revived season 21 but what a disappointment when it finally aired. First, Heidi Klum embodies the "Hootchie Mama" label that in previous seasons she'd used as a negative comment. What happened to the Marie Claire woman? Who dresses like her? Secondly, the old rules of decorum have disappeared: Cat fights and psychotic rants, and overall irrational thinking-- NOT model designers sharing their creative process. And how can frothy quincenera dresses and drag queen garbs be anything but costumes? After reading other negative comments I cannot but agree that the new Project Runway is misconceived, from the choice of judges to the production itself. See more Read all reviews
