Ray Donovan is a "fixer" for Hollywood's elite. He is the go-to guy that the city's celebrities, athletes and business moguls call to make their problems disappear. It's a much more lucrative job than his previous work as a ruthless South Boston thug, vaulting him within reach of the truly wealthy and powerful. But no amount of money or the expensive things it can buy can completely mask Ray's past, a past that continues to haunt him with troubled brothers always calling and his father's recent release from 20 years spent in prison. Now a free man, Ray's father, Mickey, arrives in Los Angeles to get what he feels is rightfully his. Mickey's desire to reconnect and settle old scores with his family -- including Ray's wife and kids, who have never met the family's patriarch and are anxious to get to know him -- threatens to destroy everything Ray has built for himself.

I invested the time to watch 7 seasons Ray Donovan. The series, although very dark, was good but had a very poor ending. I was hoping the movie would tie everything up, but it left way more questions and answers. Overall, the movie wasn't even that good. Very disappointed.

The best and I have not wrote a thing since this series ended. Perhaps the best acting and plot we have seen in some time in the new age way of "screenplays for anyone"

the people that produced this should be exposed as......how do i put this......not very nice people, do not let any of your loved ones ever be exposed to this, this is a warning.

For me it was the weakest season of all 7, it seemed to be a different show, even though it was all about the past, all of the Donovans acted as if they had dementia, not recalling the events of the other seasons, repeating all the same mistakes (Daryll!), continuity errors didn't help.

Good season unfortunately they decided to end the series with a lot of open ending. With any luck showtime will come to there senses and bring it back for 1 final season where we can all have a satisfying ending that closes the gaps left behind from the abrupt cancellation that came mid season.
