Ray Donovan: Season 7 Videos

Tv Season Info

Season seven finds Ray working to be the man his family needs him to be. While he makes progress with Dr. Amiot (five-time Emmy and Golden Globe winner Alan Alda), there are dangers from the past that require the Ray Donovan of old. Between NYC mayor Ed Feratti (Zach Grenier), an unrelenting NYPD officer hunting for the truth and clients old and new, Ray struggles to find the balance between fixing for clients and fixing himself. And when Feratti?s corruption brings a piece of Mickey?s past (Jon Voight, in his Emmy-nominated and Golden Globe-winning role) back to New York, Ray is forced to seek answers to long-buried questions. Meanwhile, Bunchy (Dash Mihok), hoping for a fresh start, bunks in Ray?s apartment and works stocking shelves at a pharmacy. Terry (Eddie Marsan) is offered a new, unconventional healing opportunity. Daryll (Pooch Hall) struggles to figure out where he fits into the Donovan clan. Bridget (Kerris Dorsey) and Smitty (Graham Rogers) face the realities of married life.

Each season takes you on a ride that you don't want to end. Superb acting and writing, this show leaves the viewer feeling as though they are a part of this family. I have even pick up a Boston accent after watching it. Can't wait til next season!!!

    Wow. Therapy and art.

This season is fantastic. Seeing some real back story for Ray and his sister, old family dynamics and some of what drives Mickey is outstanding. Terry goes on some strange adventures and Bunchy evolves in some unexpected ways. I would like to have seen a little more development for Daryll, but all in all it's a good season.

Ray Donovan this season is AWFUL and UNWATCHABLE. What happened to this once tremendous show has now become the worst tv show out there. They must have changed writers because the dialogue and action is pitiful. Please end this series so we fans can remember the great 5 seasons before last years and this years awfulness. Every tv show/series has a shelf life and Ray Donovan is expired. Showtime: please cancel this garbage show. AND shameless has gone way down as well. Barely watchable. HBO has the great shows. WATCHMEN was amazing and i cant wait for Curb your enthusiasm.

(Was disappointed with season 6) Ray Donovan Season 7 script, ensemble, pace has the energy, intensity and suspense of seasons 1, 2, 3 & 4.

overall, the show is great. Halfway in it seemed the storyline plateaued but season 7 is taking a new direction which is great.

Asked me what I thought of this show in the first season? Fives stars, hands down, it was one of my favorite shows. Ask me what I think now? It's garbage. The fourth episode of the season... what a steaming pile; did the creator give up on this show and figure she'd let anyone who wants to give TV writing a shot the chance?! Over the seasons we watched Ray go from a no-nonsense anti-hero, a man of few words who always found a way to get things done. The kind of guy most guys want to see on TV. Now? He's a wuss the writers feel needs therapy. This show is like a dumpster fire now. I'm not sure if it's intentional but the writers have made every single character on this show entirely unlikable, either in personality or their depressing situation - Ray's no longer enjoyable to watch, Bunchy's a loser, Terry's suicidal, Lena gave up, Bridget's a whore, Avi's long gone, the son's gone, and of course Abbi... all of these characters were a positive contrast for Jon Voight's knockout performance a wonderful degenerate. Now they add nothing to the show. Please, writers, can you just give us a season where Ray is back to being Ray? Go out in style. Or put this dying dog out of its misery.

Second half of season 7 is great. Daryl finally gets a story in episode 6. The show is becoming fresh.

This show is so ridiculous, but I love it, always have, always will.
