Critic Reviews for Ray Donovan Season 7
All Critics (2) | Top Critics (2) | Fresh (2) | Rotten (0)
This might be the season where everyone finally exiles Mickey, realizing that he's pure poison.
If this elegiac season has been about what's been lost, it's also been about how trauma and tragedy will never truly stay buried.
Audience Reviews for Ray Donovan: Season 7

Jul 20, 2020Good season unfortunately they decided to end the series with a lot of open ending. With any luck showtime will come to there senses and bring it back for 1 final season where we can all have a satisfying ending that closes the gaps left behind from the abrupt cancellation that came mid season.

May 04, 2020Cancelled not cancelled? I loved the show with the exception of Jon Voight. So annoying, I am ok with his character wandering the streets confused with his worthless papers as the last I ever see of him. He is a horror of a human being and I could not stand him as an actor or a character. Think they should have killed him off a long time ago. I think the show could maybe use some closure, but am really ok with Season 7 being the ending, what else is there to do, pile up more dead bodies?

Feb 23, 2020Was a bit confusing but overall shed light on so many of the prior unknown facts. All acting was amazing and story arc so enlightening. Sure hope SHO reverses their stance and renews for a Season 8 - a real finale for the series.
-
Feb 07, 2020Great love the transformation
-
Feb 04, 2020Terry remains the most interesting character on the show.
-
Feb 04, 2020Get woke.... MAGA hats and white supremacists? Really? How about a storyline without your politics thrown in our faces.
-
Feb 04, 2020I loved it but was disappointed that there were only 10 episodes. It can't end like this. That is why 4 and a half stars rather than five
-
Feb 02, 2020Great show and hope it is renewed for season 8, it feels half finished otherwise. I thought the series was going to be 12 episodes only realising episode 10 was the finale a week later..

Feb 02, 2020I love Ray Donovan... though personally, feel it could cut back even more on the sex scenes (but admit they're not quite as frequent as when it first started out - thank God!) It's just that they always feel like 'time fillers' to me, but... all the same - always good acting with decent back story/ plots, despite sometimes being a little more far fetched. Liev Schreiber is an exceptional actor & has made himself more relevant than ever in that realm... sorry, but who would have ever thought of him as a new, yet older sex symbol too?! A little confusing after having watched him in various, lesser parts throughout the years... but all the same, happy that he followed down this path. Ray Donovan is definitely one show I always look forward to every Sunday & very much looking forward to what spin next season has up it's sleeve. Overall, this is definitely a series you can really sink your teeth into!
