While the story is interesting and there are moments of extreme action there is also a lot that is implausible with explosions and dead bodies scattered everywhere but with no police response or push back (possibly because many are shown as dirty) ... Also making women look tough and capable of taking on professional killers just because they were in the army just doesn't seem convincing and even appears laughable ... Reacher often feels like a propaganda series as the team chases down drug smugglers and terrorists but ignores that such activities are not only engaged in by rogue elements in the police and army or corrupt politicians but have been promoted by the US government often through the CIA. Season 2 overall doesn't quite reach the level of Season 1 but is still a good watch nevertheless See more DJ F @Juan2Six Mar 26 Still an enjoyable watch especially if you're a fan of the Jack Reacher character. Jumbled up plotlines, terrible dialogue, incredibly stupid and unrealistic fight scenes and poor acting from top to bottom. Hard to find series that take a dive as quickly as this one does.
