Reacher operates in a lot of grayer areas throughout this season, and at a certain point you start to ask yourself if he's really somebody to be rooting for. I won't say the season convinces you to root for him by the conclusion, but at least he's better than the bad guys, just not by that much. Alan Ritchson continues to be perfect as Jack Reacher, bringing the character's intimidating presence, sharp instincts, and dry humor to every episode. The undercover storyline keeps things interesting, while Reacher's personal connection to the main conflict adds more weight to the story. The action sequences are seriously satisfying, and the show does a great job balancing suspense, mystery, and explosive confrontations. The new characters and dangerous enemies also make this season feel fresh, especially when Reacher faces someone who can actually challenge him physically. This is another win for the series. It delivers everything I enjoy about Reacher and keeps the momentum going with plenty of exciting moments. Not every part of the story is unpredictable, but the action, performances, and entertaining storyline more than make up for it. I did not recognize the story line at all. I only recognized the names of the characters. I hope the next seasons follows the subject book’s story for us real Reacher enthusiasts. See more Abs B @Abs_B Sep 20, 2026 The most violent series so far and you feel it getting closer to the books on that level. Based on the book Persuader and it does a fairly good job. It definitely is gripping and the way it starts is fairly different to most books creating a different narrative. But it also lets you down in a fair few places that are super obvious. The fight scenes in this are insane and frightening. The last one is brutal and a bit longer than needed. Another well made Reacher series but not a touch on the first. See more Read all reviews
