Despite its departure from its predecessor, it is a good campy show that does a great job at providing a space for the next generation of young people to explore what it’s like to be a teenager in a healthy way. Go to Full Review

Rebelde does an incredible job of establishing and developing several elements with its first season...Unfortunately, the show suffers from not fleshing out its main villain group thoroughly and the predictability of the season. Go to Full Review

[Rebelde] has the winning combo of a simple yet interesting storyline and a cast that shares chemistry to keep viewers hooked. Go to Full Review

Much like the original Argentinian and Mexican series, Rebelde meets all the expectations of a teen-oriented drama. Go to Full Review

Lizeth Selene, who plays Andi, is a superstar in the making. Rebelde is high energy, addicting to watch, and does a great job paying tribute to its predecessor. Go to Full Review

Rebelde is perfectly pleasant, with an appealing cast that has some pretty good chemistry off the bat. But it's not really anything people who are fans of this genre haven't seen before. Go to Full Review

Cem Y @cmyldz23 08/21/2023 Okkk, let's do something similar to Elite! But let's make every character much more stupid! And, let's have a structure where there is no believable character arc, instead let's do every character without a character so that everyone would end up with everyone sexually at some point for stupid reasons. There was only one good thing though: some of the songs.. See more 05/02/2022 I did enjoy the series very much. See more 01/30/2022 The trailer made me think this would be a cringy, basic musical. 20 minutes in the first episode I realized I was wrong. The more time I watched the more I realized how incorrect I had been. This show is indeed a musical, however there is so much more to it. It has good music, representation and diversity, interesting characters and more. See more 01/21/2022 The show HAD amazing potential. The dark tone and fashion was refreshing however, the script was terrible. They shrunk 5 seasons into 8 episodes. I have a few questions for the writers: Why not incorporate more of the old cast into the storylines? Why are the character arcs so flat and meaningless? Why were the villain storylines not expanded on? Why the break-up? Why do you need to go to a school to find out that info? Why that jarring editing? Why 8 episodes? All the twists felt forced and there were no consequences so I found myself not caring for anyone. Some of the acting was wooden especially from Esteban. Luka was by far the best character and Franco's acting was entertaining. The music was great but the EDITING WAS Awful. I felt I was watching JUMPER because characters would appear at different locations magically. See more 01/17/2022 It is a fact that fanatical fans with no critical sense are review bombing. A fruit that should have been thrown away long ago is now back but out of date. Extreme lack of originality. Generic, doesn't know if it wants to be Elite or Rebelde and few decent performances. I don't know how Netflix gets it wrong so many times in a row. See more Read all reviews
