What to Know

Critics Consensus

Red Eye is watchable enough as a forgettable potboiler, but its goofy twists and turns are often stale as airline cuisine.

Still, there’s just enough to keep you guessing. Red Eye takes itself seriously, but you don’t have to. Go to Full Review

It works, ticks along, none of the plot holes really matter. You will enjoy this. You will also have forgotten it within a month. Go to Full Review

So far this flight from hell is entertaining, tense and obviously daft. Go to Full Review

Red Eye is gripping and fast paced; at times it can be predictable, but the lead performances and intriguing narrative make it very easy for viewers to get hooked. Go to Full Review

With Nolan and Li doing things that make them look like superheroes instead of regular Brits, the performances of the four main characters have us excited to see where this story goes next. Go to Full Review

It’s a bumpy landing and no mistake, but the flight, I think, is mostly worth it. Just don’t expect a first-class seat. Go to Full Review

Brian L @Muton Jan 10 Starts out ridiculously. You have to get past a lot just to get into the story. The middle is ok runs along fairly well. Then comes the stupidest ending I've come across in a long time. Okay everyone let's just ignore the treason committed by four British citizens, including the head of MI-5. Oh and the head CIA agent doesn't know where the Chinese embassy is. Who could have guessed a British television series would make the Americans the bad guys. Didn't see that one coming. The moral of the story. The Chinese are better partners than the Americans. Nice one. Things to look forward to. "White Privilege" used against a man upset he is being extradited to China with no court order, denied a lawyer or even a phone call, by a London police women escorting him whom we are later told has no passport. When discussing whether or not the lead character has what it takes to put someone else life before his own he says "We'll never know." Won't we Dr. Matt?...won't we? The action and tension of what could happen next is a thrill. I truly enjoyed it with my partner. See more Who K @WhoKnew22 Jan 4 Its all a bit silly at times but the cast and the story carry it on and perfect to binge watch See more Craig S @Craig861 Jan 4 Really well written and contained mini series type to show. Great cast and fast paced make this a must binge watch to series. More believable than some network series. It’s. Perfect story laid out across 6 episodes. I must say that I’m not clear on the low reviews. It proves that these reviews and the ratings are not always reliable, which is disappointing. Give it a go, it was worth the price of admission! See more Read all reviews
