The first season of Red Eye was the Herman’s Hermits to Hijack’s Beatles, but the show’s dedication to its twisty goals, which are now also folding in some 24, is almost sweet. No pretentiousness here. Go to Full Review

It all ticks along quite entertainingly, though by the time you get to episode four you’ll probably be wondering how on earth they’re going to stretch it out to six. Go to Full Review

If you were to point to the dictionary definition of forgettable one-off thrillers that absolutely didn’t need a sequel, Red Eye would be right there. Go to Full Review

The best reason to watch Red Eye is Martin Compston as Clay Brody... tightly coiled and just waiting for his moments to explode. Go to Full Review

Markus G @RT41173337 6d Spannend von der ersten bis zur letzten Sekunde See more First S @fedupwiththerubbish Feb 9 Oh my goodness the ludicrous plot holes. How do the writer, producer director and such like sleep at night? Credentials not blocked: courier found dead but his credentials are later used. An agent in the embassy is shot, and even knowing that stolen credentials were used for the killer to get in, the dead guy's 'all access' pass remained active. The server which runs everything is blown up, but the server room (no security cameras and no special pass) has no fire suppression system. The doors were glass and easily broken with a fire axe. The comms system between agents still works! Even with the whole computer system down, and emergency lights flashing elsewhere, the guests are oblivious. Agents continue trying to find the killer singly. The one who was next to the explosion in the server room appears unharmed. The fire was extinguished with a couple of half hearted sprays from a fire extinguisher. Teeny tiny surveillance cameras with no space for battery work better than my WiFi. See more Ewen T @TopWomble Feb 8 Season 1 was decent enough television, yes there were some plot holes, coincidences and bad decisions being made, but they mostly felt like they fit with the character and the story unfolding was actually quite interesting, with some clever moments such as the final capture of the main villain. Season 2 is abysmal. The acting is generally poor, even from the same actors who did ok in season one. The plotline on the plane is incredibly boring and feels like it's wasting your time. The embassy scenes should be where the main action is coming from but the actions of Brody and Li are often nonsensical, even when they know who they are after they waste their time doing other things as the killer continues to strike, their chemistry is less than zero and their personal interactions are entirely uninteresting. The show is poorly paced and incredibly slow and tedious, could have been 3 episodes. See more cheri m @Chezm Feb 4 Excellent thriller, good acting, great plot and twists we didn't see coming. No idea why the reviews have been so poor, we thought it was clever and entertaining, a definite cut above other tv of the same genre See more Ruth W @Voiceofreason Jan 29 Garbage and infuriatingly stupid, implausible and ridiculous. So many plot nonsenses including that the villain could have been shot so many times but the woman (always a woman) fluffs it every time. Total waste of Sharp and Compston . See more Kingsley M @Kingsmacey Jan 26 Lumpy script and blunt acting. Actors were doing their best. Brody continuously talking into his hand pretending to walkie talkie was the worst See more Read all reviews
