Critic Reviews for Red Table Talk Season 1
All Critics (3) | Top Critics (2) | Fresh (3) | Rotten (0)
Pinkett Smith's makeover as a relatable mom is about two-thirds successful. She's not above sometimes using her celebrity associations as a teaser, then declining to follow through.
Unlike the web of other celebrity TV shows featuring manufactured family drama and few moments of actual clarity, though, the revealing conversations on "Red Table Talk" have authentic, difficult lessons at their center.
If you like interesting, no-frills celebrity talk shows, Red Table Talk might fit the bill.
