Mordecai, a blue jay, and Rigby, a raccoon, are groundskeepers at a park, but these best friends are lazy and don't let their jobs interfere with their ability to have fun. While Mordecai tries to be responsible and do a good job, he's frequently led astray by his immature pal, who is totally without fear or shame. The friends often end up having to pay for their irresponsible actions as they usually get into more trouble than they anticipated. Their slacking off at work causes much chagrin for their hot-tempered gumball machine boss, Benson.

With its washed-out PBS animation colors and clever character design, it has a great look, but its rhythm, sensibility, and jokes are a good couple of years behind that of Adventure Time. Go to Full Review

Regular Show isn't actually very funny. Maybe "mildly amusing" is a better way to describe it. Go to Full Review

It's definitely creative, but some of the fantasy violence and mildly crude humor aren't appropriate for younger viewers. But older viewers who are into creative animation will definitely appreciate the wit featured here. Go to Full Review

Kevin P @RT55971421 Jul 24 A wildly creative and inventive animated comedy that hits that sweet spot of appealing to both kids and young adults and was incredibly influential for 2010's animation. Not to mention it's VERY funny! Every episode starts off normal, grounded, and with a relatable conflict that quickly escalates into the absurd surreal extreme. The main characters are hilarious and very memorable. The first episode might be a little off-putting to some, but it's still very unique and unpredictable. We get some insane lore dropped when we find out that the baby-like Guardians of Youth and the David Bowie celestial gave Skips eternal youth. I love the episode about the insane killer hot dogs voiced boy Tim Curry that want to eat everyone before committing cannibalism with mustard. Not gonna lie, this show started off on a much stronger note than I anticipated and assumed when I first skimmed past only the pilot back in middle school. It holds up well and it's still very funny and creative. See more JORGE ALEJANDRO C @RT21209685 Apr 21 Released in 2010, Regular Show season one is one of those animated series that manages to feel simple yet extremely entertaining. The show follows Mordecai and Rigby, two best friends who work at a park and constantly end up in the most random and unexpected situations. Each episode feels like its own story, and even when watched in order, there is no real way to predict what kind of adventure they will get into next. What makes the show stand out is the dynamic between Mordecai and Rigby, whose strong and deep rooted friendship brings life to every episode as they go through all kinds of absurd experiences together. At the same time, the main cast is built around clear personality types and age groups, like Benson, who is more reserved, short tempered and strict, creating a balance that keeps the show grounded. Overall, season one stands out for its chill tone, unpredictable plots and memorable characters, making it an enjoyable and nostalgic watch. See more henlo 3 @henlo3101 Mar 23 Perfect start to one of the best series made for my age demographic during production. This series is the reason Saturday mornings were so legendary. The Power and Just Set up the Chairs live in my head rent free and just bring me back to simpler times, before I was aware of the many problems around me. This is perfect for kids, maybe 5-10 but its really timeless (I'm well out of that range and watch the odd episode here and there). This season is pretty unconnected but funny as leading to quick, 10 minute laughs about the shenanigans caused by two best mates and how the mundane can lead to magic, secrecy and absolute wierdness. See more Cruz H @RT21758122 Mar 21 Hot take the best season of regular show. From its wild animation to its funny characters, to the stuff they get to. It's just really good. And seasons 1-4 in general are really good skips season 6-8 they are complete slop. Overall, you got to watch this if you like weird actually funny humor. See more Read all reviews
